Welcome to Le Moulin

You’ll find Le Moulin (The Mill) nestled at the foot of the village of Mosset, high in the French Pyrenées, surrounded by hills and forests. Le Moulin was a functional mill until the mid-20th century. You can still see the large, granite mill-wheels both inside the house and in the garden.

The house and annexe sleep up to 10 people (depending on whether rooms are single or double occupancy). There is wifi, however we would encourage you to use these days to reconnect with yourself and immerse yourself into the stunning natural surroundings.

Cool during the summer and comfortably cosy during the winter, Le Moulin combines rustic, traditional furnishings with spacious white walls, hung with contemporary art.

The Garden

The property is set amongst mature gardens and feels secluded and private. The sound of rushing water is ever-present: There is a canal running beneath the house as well as a river behind it.

The beautiful swimming pond is a stunning feature of Le Moulin. It was added 15 years ago and provides a sanctuary for local wildlife. It is completely chemical free and eco-friendly. If you’re lucky you might see the swallows dive-bombing the water, or dragonflies doing their mating dance!

 The Yoga Deck

The 8m x 4m yoga deck is found on a terrace overlooking the surrounding valley and mountains. The deck can accommodate 10 yogis and we provide mats, bolsters, blocks and straps.

During the summer months (July-September) the deck is covered with a canopy to provide shade.

The House

The main house can sleep up to 7 people. The annexe can sleep up to 4 people and is available for hire at an additional cost.

Upstairs:

  • Master bedroom with double bed. Garden view.

  • Triple room with bunk-bed and single bed. River view.

  • Small bedroom with double bed. River view.

  • Bathroom with shower, separate toilet.

Annexe:

  • Double bed.

  • Two single beds.

  • Bathroom with shower and toilet.

  • Kitchenette, small table and chairs.

  • Separate entrance.

Downstairs:

  • Large split-level open-plan dining/living-room with wood-burning stove, large table, chairs, sofa and armchairs.

  • Downstairs bathroom with bath and toilet.

  • Kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, small table and chairs.

Outside space:

  • Yoga deck on lower terrace (fully equipped)

  • Garden furniture (Tables, chairs, sun loungers)

  • Natural swimming pond

  • Large garden

  • BBQ

  • Two parking areas. Room for up to 4 cars.
